Denied!
This guy wanted to be my MySpace friend. Take a gander at his friends and at who he wants to meet.

No, I'm not flattered. And he's a "proud parent". Oof. There's spawn.

Frequent Flier
I just received my first order of business cards from VistaPrint.com and can't wait to give them all away. I love them! I don't know why I waited so very, very long to get real cards instead of printing my own. Since I'll be doing major schmoozing in Montreal with the biggest names in the business at Just For Laughs, the largest comedy festival in the world, I got on the ball.

Meanwhile, I've been genererating publicity and fielding press inquiries for Christian's appearances in Richmond this weekend, DC next week end where he'll also be recording his debut CD produced by Comedy Central Records and his first trip to Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia.

If you're counting that's almost every long weekend in July that Christian and/or I are traveling for business. The only exception is the weekend of the 14th -16th, so let's go hang out okay?!

Doing Yourself a Favor
If there is only one thing I can teach you, pass on to you, or otherwise influence you, let it be this:

TiVO The Price is Right.

Grasshopper, do yourself a favor: surrender yourself and you will find inner strength.

Now on to less important things like Star Jones & The View. Jones was voted off the island and instead of choosing to go out with grace and maintain a shred of dignity, she proved to the public why the majority wanted her gone in the first place. She could have done herself a favor by implementing some positive spin control (Where Are They Now section) and licked her wounds privately. The route she chose will only highlight the most negative parts of her personality and business sense. No one likes her and her sour grapes except for maybe her mom.

Which brings more Kung Fu wisdon: "I have seen the silkworm. It spins a thread, thinking itself to be safe. It has spun a tomb. Hate is the tomb you weave. It will not save you from your suffering." Ah, young Grasshopper: "To hate is like drinking salt water. Your thirst grows worse."

Here's a clip of Christian Finnegan, Sherrod Small & Jessica St. Clair of Best Week Ever on The Today Show on June 23rd.

Last night's "The Drink at Work Show" was Standing Room Only! Yes, inish caps required for how awesome the show was. I was a little worried considering the well established shows "Eating It" (with its nice write up by my pal Mandy in the NY Post which included two name checks for Christian, one in the lede, even) and "Tell Your Friends (with its Gothamist plug) were also last night.

But the crowd was there and God saw that it was good so he gave me two free drink tickets and $10 to perform. Rock. My new piece was a bastardized version of a few things plus newly written material which will all be posted over at Love, Daddy. One day I hope to have memorized some of this stuff as reading just isn't as fun as performing. But, well, when you write it a day before it hardly leaves room for that now does it? Yes, times are busy. I also had just come from FOUR hours at the dentist and a nearly two hour interview with the Observer, so my mouth was a little numb and sore and weird feeling and my teeth felt like dominoes.

--Kambri
Christian assured me it was good but I think he was just horny. I chose to believe him and God saw that it was good and gave Christian a blow job.

Holy smokes have I had an awesome weekend! The rain tried to damper the spirits of yesterday's Water Taxi "Tex on the Beach" party to no avail. The place was packed and hopping with happy, hungry meat eaters. I learned a new card trick thanks to Texan comedian Dan Allen and got lots of gifts and free drinks from everyone.

Today, Keith treated me to a Yankees game and, once again, the torential rains failed to ruin our day. The rain stopped just in time for us to walk over without using umbrellas and we got to see the grounds crew do their job. It's really kind of fascinating to watch even though it meant the start of the game was delayed by an hour. The Yankees won and we got seats on the subway home.

Now I'm off to take Paquita to a comedy show in the Village and hopefully work on the piece Christian and I will perform tomorrow night at The Drink at Work Show. If it goes well, we're going to play the tape of it at our wedding. Come on out tomorrow to Ace of Clubs. You won't want to miss this one!

Good News for the NY Cat-estant!
Bambi, the NY cat-estant who had yet to find a permanent home, was adopted as a direct result of Mandy Stadtmiller's article in the NY Post.

From a producer at E! comes this note about the Meow Mix House:

"We love those kitties and will feature them on E!News Weekend!
Tune in:
Saturday - 9-10am and 7-8pm
Sunday - 11am-Noon
Monday - 8-9am and Noon-1pm"

Quick Hits
Gawker comments on BWE's appearance on the Today Show. Sadly Sherrod commented on Matt Lauer's sockless ankles before Christian could get in his actual joke. Oh well. It was still funny.

This site plugs my interview in the Villager and Love, Daddy blog but inexplicably includes a passage not contained in the online interview. Weird but cool, nonetheless.

The Latest Ballyhoo is up. Check it out!

Quota reached on my free video services, full Today Show clip will have to wait.

Um, Light Bulb, Can We Have a Moment?
I've got three reporters lined up for Monday's "The Drink at Work Show", two in direct relation to interviews of which I've been the interviewee. Great, right? Um...well, not if I'm supposed to perform and I still don't know what the F I'm gonna do. Gotta get cracking.

Meanwhile, read this interview with me by Noah Fowle that appeared in the Villager today. I'm a little embarrassed by the opening where it says I helped launch rooms / shows. Not really true but I have done much, much promoting for lots of different shows down there. Other than that, it's a great interview considering it's my first and I was not prepared for some of the questions.

Oh, yeah, and my birthday was awesome! Christian got me a Coach purse and treated me to lots of food and drinks all over the City. MySpace is definitely good for birthdays...Jiminy Christ I got hundreds of emails, IMs, phone calls, and comments. The Water Taxi Beach Party is tomorrow, rain or shine, where I hope to celebrate in person with lots of friends. Click here for the scoop.

Birthday Post #2
Adrianne Frost of Best Week Ever and author of I Hate Other People's Kids is going to see The Price is Right live in Las Vegas. I would hate her right now except she just wrote to get my address so she could send me a postcard. She might even buy me a tee just because she's that awesome. Funny timing, too, as I was just Googling to try and find a DVD of a compilation of the best clips of TPIR. Sadly, it doesn't seem to exist. If it does, that is ALL I want for my birthday. I love me some crazy TPIR contestants.

--Kambri
Okay, time for the booze and French toast and birthday festivities to begin.

Happy Birthday To Me!
Here's another great Gothamist entry about Meow Mix House.

Christian & I were planning a trip to pick up my repaired ring and the Queens County Courthouse to apply for our marriage license as my birthday outing. Exciting stuff, errand running. The court clerk made us change our minds when she said, "Come early and definitely before 3:00 because the line is so long you may not get served." Woah. WTF? Why's that? "It's JUNE!" She exclaimed increduously. Oh. Right. Shit. I don't know crap about weddings.

So far, knock on wood-- our "party" has not been a big deal but I forget that there are hundreds, nay thousands, of brides in New York planning their special, perfect June wedding and don't plan stuff like this in New York regularly. Yeah, we'll wait till August to get our license. Let the Bridezillas freak out without our prying eyes. Bless their pink and white laced hearts.

Instead I'll be off eating French toast and Bloody Marys for lunch and having fruity cocktails in the afternoon at the Rink Bar (aka the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink in Winter) with my old work buddies like I did this day five years ago. Only this time I'll have an awesome guy at my side and drunk all day, as life should be.

--Kambri
Five years ago today I got *ahem* molested on the subway after the Rink Bar outing. Three margaritas and two feet of height made me brave enough to chase the fu*ker down and make himr regret his decision. A$$hole. Which reminds me: V Day is here.

DVR Alert!
Set your DVR to record the Today Show this Friday when my client/fiance' comedian Christian Finnegan goes on to discuss the intricate goings-on of such culturally important events like:

Angelina Jolie's sit down with Anderson Cooper,
Connie Chung's unfortunate send off, and
I'm sure, Brittney's interview with Matt Lauer.

You won't want to miss this ground-breaking television event.

Meanwhile, enjoy this clip of Ryan Seacrest reporting about the Meow Mix House on E! News Daily and featuring my best pal and fellow NOLA volunteer Keith. YAY!

I'm sure Christian won't "accidentally" delete this recording.

Today Show Clip
My friends Keith, the PR guru, and Tom Shillue, the host of Meow Mix House, were on the Today Show. All over it. The segment rocked but Christian DELETED it before I could save it to my computer. He was upset with himself so I was sure to tease him mercilessly about how he did it on purpose. A passive-aggressive f-you to Tom & Keith for stealing Christian's Today Show thunder. We'll get a copy from the producer and Keith has it on his DVR so all is not lost, just delayed indefinitely. Unless, of course, you saw the clip live. In which case, this entry is not for you. E! is at the house now. Stay tuned!

Dentist to the Stars
My new dentist is amazing! I got a call this morning to see how I was feeling and during my 3.5 hour visit yesterday (oof) I had the nicest chat with him about the comedy industry and Tom Cruise's mal-aligned teeth. We then went through the list of his more famous clients to see who we had in common. The number was low, but sure to increase in the coming months or years as I'll be referring everyone I know to him. Before I left, he came back to say, "Wait, don't leave, I want to show you something." We went back to his office where he played me a clip of David Lettermen's Top Ten Reasons to go to Dr. L. Awesome.

Whimsical
On a whim, I just redesigned the Ballyhoo Promotions website. Crazy whim thing like trying to move all my old blog archives from the HTML format to Blogger except, you know, worth the time and effort. There are still a few bells & whistles I'd like to add & tweak and a few elements that need to be cleaned up but not bad for about three hours of work, I'd say. Especially since that little "Latest Ballyhoo" window will be so much easier to update and will therefore be ...well... updated. I have an appointment with my dentist at an ungodly hour in the morning so those tweaks and bells and whistles and Latest Ballyhoo will have to wait till tomorrow.

Lazy, Hot Sunday
After two glasses of wine at Cup Diner sipped outside with Paquita during a long conversation with Deborah, the movie finally let out of the AMMI and I was able to scavenger for my keys. Voila! Found them!

Tomorrow I'm back to the crazy grind. I've got to pick up my wedding ring which is in for repair becuase I can't take care of nice things (hey, I never HAD nice things!), put stamps and return address labels on envelopes and mail out our invitations which I hand addressed and stuffed yesterday, and get my teeth cleaned in preperation for my laser whitening treatment. My insane levels of coffee drinking are catching up I think, so if ever there is a time to be vain it's a month and a half before a party to which lots of folks are traveling from far and wide to attend. I'll let you know how it works out and if it was worth it. Maybe I'll even post those gross yet mesmerizing before and after pics you see in the backs of magazines. Or maybe not.

Um, what else? Fox and Friends clip is here. I uploaded a few more Flickr pics from the Meow Mix House launch party (Jonny Fairplay is pictured above with Christian and there's some of Gervase from Survivor, some dudes from the Bachelor and Average Joe, etc.).

Christian returns from Tampa tomorrow for a few days before hitting Richmond, Virginia. That's his last stop before we head to the DC Improv to record his debut CD on the Comedy Central Records label. Time for the full court press on the PR. If you, or anyone you know, is in DC for July 6 - 9, drop me a line and we'll try to hook them up.

Full Metal Jacket
I treated Keith (head of the Meow Mix House PR team that hired me) to a free showing of Full Metal Jacket at the AMMI. Afterwards we were treated to an excellent Q&A with Matthew Modine who is a really great interview. He never lacked for a great anecdote to pair along with his answers. He's also very tall, aged well but I hated his new haircut...perhaps it's for a part, but I never got to ask him. I've seen FMJ before and have watched many scenes of it over and over again throughout the years, but watching it in the theater start to finish was just as intense as the first time around nearly 20 years ago. I was moved to tears more than once and the brutality of some scenes is gut wrenching. It is also timeless, especially in light of the current events in Iraq. War sucks.

Afterwards we treated ourselves to a birthday feast (his is 6/9 and mine is 6/22) at L'il Bistro 33 before heading back to my place. We had hoped to make it on to my rooftop in time to watch the sun set while sipping on my gifted Dom Perginon. On the way home, I realized I lost my keys (so that's what that loud clanky sound was when I moved seats during the movie!) but luckily Rachel has a spare set and saved the day. The Dom was great, the view was incredible, the weather superb...what a great night!

--Kambri
Thank God Rachel was home and answered her phone! Phew!

Tune In
Set your alarms so you don't miss CNN's American Morning this morning and the Today Show Monday morning when they cover the Meow Mix House. Clip from Fox & Friends forthcoming.

My work with Meow Mix has pretty much ended with the launch, save for the clip collecting and some follow up, and Hilarilogues is over so yesterday I:

-- Met with the printer and gave him my artwork / order for the wedding invitations,
-- Saw my new dentist in the Helmsley Building which is very fancy as evidenced by my bill,
-- Got interviewed by the Villager which went well I guess,
-- Organized and expensed three months worth of receipts,
-- Promoted Christian's appearance at the Tampa Improv this weekend, and
-- Met with Livia and decided to help her promote Goodnight, O.J.

--Kambri
You snooze, you lose.

Hilarilogues with Andres du Bouchet last night was his best solo show yet. He had the crowd from the get go and clearly benefitted from the skillful direction of Michael Bernard. The Q&A was really fun and well moderated by Tex in the City producer Scott Ramsey. Scott is really great at leading conversations...much better than that dude at the AMMI. We had a talent manager, a Comedy Central talent director, a bunch of authors, an accomplished actress, and so many more talented people there in support of Andres. Congratulations to him!

Our party, show & Q&A were recommended in AM New York, but I never got a copy. Anyone have it?

I'm meeting Livia Scott today regarding her show, Goodnight, O.J., which is appearing in the same festival. I've helped her with PR in the past and hope I can do so now...she's really terrific, nice, talented -- so many good words come to mind -- and, from what I've heard, this show brings out elements in her that I'm sure her fans have never seen.

Afterwards, I head over to my interview with the Villager regarding Love, Daddy. It really is small potatoes when compared to this insane Meow Mix House frenzy. Besides the Daily News & Post stories today, CNN is coming by, Julie Chen is working out a time, Regis was chatting about it, and on and on and on.

I'm thrilled to have had a part of this project but even more psyched about the bottle of Dom Perignon that Tom Shillue had delivered to me as a thank you for referring him for the job! Top notch dude, that Shillue. Keith and I are going to drink it Saturday night to celebrate a job well done save for about 10 minutes when Keith will have an interview with some news group in Australia. Hope the champagne doesn't go straight to his head!

More Stuff
Okay, the amount of *international!* press going on is insane, so I'll keep future posts on the Meow Mix House to a minimum.

The Daily News & NY Post are both running stories tomorrow and Tom Shillue will be on Fox & Friends in the morning. Tom was on Fox a little while ago and they ran b-roll footage in which Christian appears along with all the ex-reality stars.

Meow Mix House Stuff
Last night's opening was a success, I'd say! We had a bunch of ex-reality stars there along with host Tom Shillue & my fiance' / client Christian Finnegan. More photos have been loaded to Flickr and this note came from Keith, "This is like the Cafe all over again. We've had calls from four radio stations inAustralia, two TV stations in Japan, Kyodo wire service in Japan, a radio station inDublin, BBC....not to mention the international news feeds that are running the story."

Today's the Day!
The Meow Mix House opens in about 8.5 hours! Woot! New Yorkers can swing by 425 Madison (btwn 48th & 49th) during business hours till June 23rd to get a peek at the house and vote on their favorite cat.

I'll be there early and working but afterwards I head over to Chicks & Giggles for another reading from Love, Daddy. It's the same piece I've been reading. Sadly no time for creative writing with the House and all. So, if you haven't seen it, come on out to Mo Pitkin's House of Satisfaction at 8:00. There's a smashing good lineup and it's free!

Finally, tomorrow night is Happy Hour Hilarilogues at Center Stage. We've got some industry folks coming so it's a great networking opportunity as well as a fun show and good time.

Happy birthday, Mom!

Jailed Deaf Dad Video
Unless you're really good at sign language, this clip won't mean much to you as it was taken from far away by Christian who was sitting in a parked car waiting for me while I chatted away for three hours behind chain link and razor wire.

The basic transcript is this with some signs/markers in parentheses:

I am signing about how busy I've been this week (busy, busy, busy, call, call, call, type, type, type)
(We both look out to the camera.)
Dad asks why Christian didn't come inside.
I explain I wanted a contact visit and Christian & I aren't married yet. I tell him how I tried to get him a hamburger but Dairy Queen wasn't open at 9:30 AM.
(I quickly look over my left shoulder at the guard to see if the coast is clear.)
I sign "I have gum in my pocket."
My dad immediately reaches for it. (Two people walk by the frame as this happens.)
I dig it out and he unwraps it, gives me a piece, then takes a piece for himself. Watch carefully for his reaction after putting it in his mouth.
He was overwhelmed with how good it was then signed "Long time. Taste different. Long time."

Flickr Pics
A few Meow Mix House pictures are loaded on my Flickr page. Today is crunch time for the press so no real time to blog about pussies but I will note that over the weekend the house was featured on CNN's"Showbiz Today", E!'s Daily 10 (at #3), TV Guide Channel and WB11 News in NewYork.

Quick reminder for those in NYC, Happy Hour Hilarilogues is on Wednesday. I've gotten a few RSVPs, so we're expecting a nice little group. Email me if you want to join us!

Quotable Quotes
From today's contact visit with my jailed deaf dad:

A one eyed inmate telling his visitors about my dad, "He's deaf. He's a good guy. Real good guy."

Me meeting Christian outside the gates after passing sticks of gum to my dad and saying goodbye,"I think I got busted. Let's get the fuck out of Dodge!"

After Dad described the horrifying facial disfigurements of one of his fellow inmates, I asked, "What's he in for?" Dad replied, "He killed his wife and kids then shot himself in the head."

Me to Christian since he was taking his sweet ass time, "Seriously, start the car we have to ge the F out of D NOW!"

Where to begin?
Here's an actual text message I sent to Christian while sipping Bud Light out of a can with a straw and watching some of the worst drag queens "perform" in a permanently parked double wide trailer that was converted into a bar:

"It's 11:11 and I'm watching some dude in a bad wig suck seductively on a pickle while his bare nuts r expiosed and oh yeah he needs to shave his stubble so he pulls out an electric shaver.

pickles r only 50 cents!!!!!!!!!"

My man with the Norelco then jumped into the picture I took with Gina so I can share him with you, the Internet. His balls would just not keep to themselves much to my "shocked" delight.

I slept till 2:00 today before waking and trying to recall some of the more interesting moments of the night but, well, watching a nut-exposed man dressed like a woman shave himself at a bar while sucking on a pickle really takes the cake.

Set Your TiVOs!
Flickr is still a Dickr (heh) so no pics for viewing yet. BUT you can watch E!'s Daily Ten, Fox and/or the Insider tonight for your inside look at the Meow Mix House! You won't believe how cute the house and the cats are.

Also, the NY Post story ran today (thanks, Mandy!) and Keith just got off the phone with Time. Oh, and check out AOL's coverage complete with some photos including one of my pal comedian Tom Shillue (www.myspace.com/tomshillue) who will be hosting the show.

The Cat is Out of the Bag
It's official: The Meow Mix House will be aired on Animal Planet! Even better, my pal Keith got a photo credit for the Associated Press article that just hit the wires today.

View photos of the house and cats on my Flickr page once Flickr stops being a Dickr.

More radio tomorrow, gave out lots of free tickets and can't wait to see my mom and Tigger and, of course, my jailed deaf dad. I'm reading again at Chicks & Giggles on Tuesday, June 13th right after the grand opening of the Meow Mix House. Since time has been sparse what with working on house and planning a "wedding", I think I'll just read the same piece I've read before. Unless Dad provides me with some more gems like on the last visit and I'm able to whip something out on the flight home. It's 93 here. How the hell am I supposed to smuggle in a hamburger?

Gospel of Jack
In my blog inventory work, I found another "lost" (see October 2002) Gospel of Jack typed when I was still blogging on the sly and had only been working with him for three months:

I hope he comes to our wedding! Oh, the quotes!

Awesome crowd tonight, radio in a few hours and Meow Mix is in high gear. Stay tuned!

The H in H-Town is for Home
Christian & I have arrived in Houston (www.laffstop.com) and have already gotten one radio spot under our belt on 97.5. The topic of my jailed deaf dad was revisited since the last time we were on it was the day before our first trip to the clink. The rest of the hour was all over the place topic-wise but it went well. The first show is tonight and we're here through Saturday so come on out if you're in the Houston area. A few new friends from MySpace will be there as will my mom and an old friend from school.

I'm going to take it easy tonight so I'm on my best game tomorrow when we return to KRBE. I'm hoping to talk about the Meow Mix House since they read my press release during a news segment a few weeks ago, and I'm going to give Tex in the City a little plug.

Speaking of the Meow Mix House, it is moving forward at a rapid pace. We're securing a bunch of ex-reality "stars" to appear at the opening and the press is piling up. Of the evening entertainment shows, so far we've confirmed Inside Edition. My pal Mandy from the NY Post will run a story Friday and the same photographer who snapped my and my animals' picture yesterday took the pics of the house today. So, yeah, life is great, work is awesome and I've got friends and family to share it with this weekend.

Tonight in 250 Words or Less.
Reverend Ramsey, Christian & I checked out our nuptial space and think it's gonna be alright. Scott is adept at major productions having garnered some serious credits under his belt over the years (corporate gigs in Hawaii, the 20 something anniversary of Second Stage or something or other...seriously big, blowout parties that put my Jest Magazine National Launch party -- with its free ice sculpture, free models, free booze, free space and rocking gift bags -- to shame).

Needless to say, Scott was replete with ideas none of which I want to pay for. But, this isn't a marketing, barter type situation like Jest was so it's either pay for it or go without. I'll go without, thankyouverymuch. You can take the girl out of the tin shed but, well, I don't want to go back to the tin shed, thankyouverymuch.

So, the party or wedding or whatever is going to be fun, I think, but no one should expect any ice sculptures and gift bags like they usually get at my shindigs which makes me want to go out and trick for a week so I can get the mints in a tin that say "Your breath stinks. --Kambri & Christian, 8/12/06".

No, seriously, your breath stinks on 8/12/06.

I'm Being Profiled!
For those of you who don't know, I volunteered with an animal rescue & recovery group in NoLA after Katrina. I came home with a bunny rabbit that had been abandoned like so many thousands of pets. Named Maybelline for her black-lined eyes, she gets along perfectly with my dog Paquita.

Julia Szabo of the New York Post heard of my volunteer work and rescued bunny and is profiling me and my menagerie for her weekly pet column. The piece should run this Sunday, I think. The photographer comes by at 3:00 today, so I guess I'd better get out of my pj's and brush my hair. Pfft.

All done! The ani-pals were adorable and well behaved!

Blast From the Past
I've been slowly rebuilding the Tex in the City Diaries archive pages which is, I know, a waste of time but the type of project I really get sucked into. I figure two a day and it will be done in no time as most of the old entries are gone, save for a precious few and the orignal posting info for all is lost. Since I have been a daily journalist for years now, I've been going through my old "Intimate Confession" blog and transferring over one or two Tex in the City related entries to Blogger where they will be much safer. In doing so, I came across this entry which is basically the date and time when I decided to go solo. So, in just over two years, I've taken a little light bulb moment into a fully realized new life for myself.

Our Reverend
Scott was ordained online and now insists on being referred to as Reverend Ramsey. Now we just wait to see if the City of New York approves his application. Turns out my pal Deborah is ordained, too. (Correction: she's a notary in SC.) We could start a side business: Tex in the Church? Nah. Speaking of Scott, he has his first day of school today. Break a leg, Scott! I have my writing workshop tonight. Not nearly as big a deal.

Lots of Meow Mix House stuff going on, but no time to chit chat. Later kids!

Houston Bound
I just called the prison to make sure my jailed deaf dad isn't in solitary and can receive visitors. It's been a few weeks since I've heard from him so I thought I had better check and save myself the trouble / disappointment of driving two hours each way from Houston to Hunstville to be told I can't see him.

I'm going to smuggle in a pack of gum and Dairy Queen cheeseburger but he's gonna have to wait on the glasses, especially if he wants his USA Today subscription renewed. I'm going to ask him to write me a letter to read at our "wedding" giving his blessing and whatever else he wants to say. I have a back up letter to read just in case he doesn't come through for me where he said to Christian, "I guess you are good enough..." Yes, Dad is right, Christian is good enough. He is on the better side of the bars and bullet proof glass.

My criteria are high.

Breaking Up
Both Christian & I really enjoyed The Break Up and neither of us are quite sure why all the negative reviews.

I also finished Running with Scissors which I knew would be great, knew I would love. I didn't find it emotionally exhaustive the way The Glass Castle was. The latter ripped me to shreds. The former made me laugh out loud more than once but never come close to shedding a tear. I think I'd like my memoir to fall somewhere in between.

You know, when I get that million dollar book deal without even trying.

Today Show Clip
Christian was a bit on the tired side so wasn't thrilled with his performance this morning. He was caught off guard by two topics which didn't help matters, but I think he did okay and looked good doing it. Right now he's on his phone in his office with The Morning After and I'm in my office listening to his interview. Cool.

Watch the Today Show clip now before NBC pulls the plug:

Insert Quippy Title Here
Christian will be on the Today Show tomorrow morning around 8:30, I'm guessing. TBD.

Also tomorrow at 10:20 AM, I've booked him on 92.3 Free FM. Listen at www.923freefm.com [UPDATE: This is going to be rescheduled.]

Watch my pal, NY Post reporter Mandy Stadtmiller, on Good Day New York here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=aLBZzRR2_kA

Last night was a blast with a free showing of Burleigh Grime$. Half the group hated it, some others loved it and a few were somewhere in between. It's all about Wall Street, so if that world is your style you might dig it. I will say this: the drums were freaking loud. But no one ever really complains when being treated to free the-a-tah.

Afterwards we enjoyed cheap margaritas in the outdoors at Blockheads and watched some young new musical theater graduates showing off with their fancy Broadway dance moves. I threw down my purse and said, "That's it! I declare a DANCE OFF!" I was going to show them a thing or two! And I proceeded to snap my fingers a la West Side Story. Scott chickened out, though, so the dance off was a bust. Justin, the young grad, was too young, chipper, drunk and fit to be beat by our aged selves. Instead we cleaned their clocks in a drink off.

--Kambri
Can't dance.
